Elderflower Sangria
ingredients:
1/2 bottle rum or brandy
2 apples
5 oranges
1 bottle big sis elderflower & co. honey
3 bottles Spanish or Portuguese red wine
lemon juice
directions:
wash fruit thoroughly. chop apples into bite-sized pieces. slice 2 oranges in half and into thin slices. add fruit to carafe with liquor of choice and big sis elderflower & co. honey. allow to infuse in fridge for 1+ hour. add 3 bottles of wine, juice from 3 remaining oranges and lemon juice to taste. return to fridge to infuse further. enjoy over ice! (PS: this recipe makes a lot of sangria, halve it for a smaller gathering)
